June 23, 1948, Romulo Carballo shot me in the leg for no other reason than I was courting his daughter Carolina who was always flirting with me. My leg wouldn’t heal, and I prayed the Virgin of Zapopan so I wouldn’t be left lame. She worked the miracle, and I was cured.

Thank you, Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, because my left ankle that I injured in Tijuana got healed.

August 6, 2000, I was diving in Tulum. I was alone and everything was going great. When the evening came and I decided to get out and come back, I felt the presence of sharks. I was getting in the boat when one of them caught my leg. Seeing it, I implored the Holy Heart. I stretched for the harpoon, grabbed it and shot. Although the shark took my leg, I took its life.

Our Lady from Talpa, I’m going to thank you for letting me get control of my legs again. I couldn’t walk for almost a year because of an accident when I fell down the stairs in my house. Nothing would help me, and I implored you. Now I’m leaving this wheelchair.

Thanks, Virgin, because after having walked till my friend’s feet bled he finally found a house near the central station where we two could live. In this way he saved me from the house of the narcos where I had lived for a year and he saved himself from the love he had lost in the house where he had lived with his dog before.

Young man B. L. used to get excited by touching the feet of the lady clients of the shoe shop where he worked. His bosses noticed it and fired him. He thanks Saint James with the present retablo because he has overcome this obsession with professional help.
