Thank you, Virgin of Guadalupe, for the miracle that I arrived well to the Mexico City, along with the passengers who did confide in me. The bus lost its brakes as we approached Zihuatanejo and it went like it was driven by the devil. In such danger, I entrusted myself to you, promising this exvoto which I bring now.

Only God and they know why they leave their homes and families. For a better future. Protect them, this humble neighborhood painter wholeheartedly asks you.

Bad thing happened with a boy Juanito Sanchez. He was working at this sandwich place and he was hit by a car that nailed him to the kiosk. Seeing that tragedy, his mom implored you, Virgin of Guadalupe, so that you’d save him from this tragedy.

On her way to the market, Carmen Sanchez received a bullet from a drunkard who sot her in the belly without any reason. Finding herself in danger of dying, she entrusted herself to Juan Deigo so that he would deliver her from death. Now she gives thanks for the received miracle.

When I saw this scene on my cel phone and saw how they apprehended our teacher and going to hurt her, I got very angry. I entrusted her to the Virgin of the Solitude, the patroness of Oaxaca, and asked to protect her in their fight for the decent education for Mexico. We thank for she’s free now, because 6 persons were dead, 21 detained, 94 injured and many arrested. Let them know that they aren’t alone. Pupils and parents, we support the teachers.

I asked you so much to not take my Maria when she had a heart attack. Crying, I implored you, Saint Jude Thaddeus, and you heard me, and now she’s healthy and happy. Grateful, I bring this retablo to you and promise to bring one every year while she lives.

Thank you Lord!

The night of February 22, 1913, I looked out the window after hearing the noise made by two cars. Everything looked very suspicious so I kept watching. I saw two men cowardly murdered. I didn’t know then that it was the president Francisco I. Madero and the vice-president Pino Suarez. I was scared because there was a big commotion and everyone who passed was arrested for interrogation. Today, after 5 years, I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe because I’m alive to tell about it.

I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for curing my father Jose. We were playing soccer and he fell hitting his head and lain like dead. Seeing this tragedy I prayed for his life. Now he’s fine and we bring this retablo together for such luck.

I’m very happy that Roberto let me live in this apartment showing me how much he loves me, although having discovered that I’m not a woman but gay. We live very happy without hiding our relationship. I asked a lot Saint Sebastian, saint whom I’m devoted to. He understands us and I will live eternally grateful to him.

I give thanks to the Archangel of Justice for I left this disgraceful life I led before suffering insults and abuse from authorities and putting my health in danger. You sent me a man who met me and found out about my past. He fell in love with me and me too. We got married and live very happily.

In memory of that morning of September 19, 1985, when an earthquake shook the Mexico City. I know if God let me live it was to save people and help the others. That’s why I thank Saint Jude Thaddeus who interceded for me, and I’m dedicating this for those who were in those Juarez apartment buildings and for those who aren’t with us anymore. I’m here to tell about it.
