I give thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for taking care of my family and for giving us strength to keep painting. I pray to her to take care and guide my loved ones, my friends and those who need it the most, so that we could make it safe and sound through this COVID-19 pandemic. Amen.

I give many thanks for the grace granted me by the Virgin of Guadalupe! Being knowledgeable about the events that are taking place in my country and knowing that the are causing me great pain, January 20, 2018, she, with her great love and wisdom, gave me a vision about the future and divine justice, soothing my sorrows. Viva the Virgin!

Our mule had always been very docile. But one day when we needed to get to San Martin earlier to take the better place to sell our flowers it got stubborn and refused to walk. More we pushed him, more he resisted. Then we asked Saint Francis for help. And he must have whispered something into the mule’s ear because suddenly the mule shook his ears and started walking. We managed to take place near the church and sold all our flowers. We thank for this miracle.

I dedicate this retablo to Saint Charbel for the classic 1974 movie “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. When I saw it, I was impressed with the story and acting performance. It became one of my favorite horror movies.

Gonzalo Rodriguez, a.k.a. Vampire, used to take too much ecstasy. One day he was listening rock, and the devil appears to him during his trip and began to lick his feet threatening to eat him up. Gonzalo thanks Saint Michael the Archangel who helped him to get out of his hallucination and promises not to take drugs anymore.

When we were coming back home from the town fair, we met a headless horseman on our way. The sight of the ghost made our hair stand on end and our blood freeze in the veins. But the Virgin of Zapopan protected us, and the horseman passed by without seeing us and didn’t do anything to us. But the next day we saw that our hair turned gray from fright.

I thank Holy Child of Atocha for helping me to keep my great secret. In reality it’s my wife who is the boss in our house and I’m just a henpecked husband. If it became known, it would damage my tough image among the fans and I’d be a joke for my fellows wrestlers. I bring this humble retablo.

I wanted to improve my health. I found out that 50 g of red wine before sleep is very good for health. I bought 3 liters of draught wine, brought it home, and there were the guests. They drank it all. I bought more. And again—the guests drank it all. I bought wine a third time, and again—they drank all 3 liters. I realized that it wasn’t given to me to stock up on wine!

I dedicate this retablo to my Guardian Angel for saving me from wine-treatment.

I took my piglets to the river to wash them because they stunk very much. Suddenly a strong current came from the mountain and took us down the river to the waterfall. I thank Saint Francis who protected us so we didn’t get hurt falling on the rocks nor drowned. We managed to get out to the bank safe and sound.

The company I worked for many years got rid of me because of my age. I didn’t know how to occupy myself or how to support myself since I wasn’t married. Then I had an idea to use my savings to open a sex shop. I thank Saint Martin the Cavalryman for my shop had a great success. I don’t care what the people say or think—it’s an honest job.
