Ricardo Vivanco, 24-years old, being slightly drunk, was coming back from the family celebration at 2 a.m. He was going through the de la Luz neighborhood when he saw a beautiful woman. She called him. Influenced by wine, he approached her obediently and hug her. He can’t remember anything after that. He gained his conscience bad at 11 a.m. founding himself lying in the San Francisco river. Fortunately, he was lying at shallows. He thank Saint Francis of Assisi for helping him. He brings this retablo as gratitude.

My son Jose was playing an angel in a school play, and his rope broke down. He fell down, hit his head and lost his conscience. When he woke up he decided he was really an angel. I payed to the Virgin of Zapopan so that my son came back to his senses. Three days later, the Virgin worked a miracle and Jose got his memory back. I thank the Virgin because otherwise his behavior was very dangerous while he was being an angel—he was constantly trying to fly off the roof.

January 1947, near the Guanajuato river, Tomas Ramirez was attacked by three men—two were beating him and the third man, with a gun, shot him in stomach. Tomas fell unconscious. The bullet remained inside. A surgery was performed to avoid any infection. Tomas entrusted himself to the miraculous image of Saint Francis of Paola and little by little got better. Now he’s offering this retablo to keep the miracle in mind.

The night of March 22, the friend of Filemon Garcia, who had been considered disappeared, brought him to his house. Turned out that Filemon had been so drunk he had been unconscious for three days in the house of a friend who had also been drunk. His wife, doña Cruz, thanks the Virgin of Zapopan because neither something bad happened with her husband, nor he left her for another woman, as she had thought.

Adelina Martinez Villafuerte went with her daughter Josefina in the garden for refreshments. But a cat pushed a flowerpot, and it fell right on her head. She passed out. Her scared daughter prayed to the Virgin of Zapopan and she miraculously brought Adeline back to life.

My son Ricardo Antonio was swinging his sister very hard. My nephew Juanito was playing ball with the dog and didn’t notice how he got on the swing’s way. The swing hit him in the head, and he lost conscience. I was scared that he might die and his mother would accuse me of that. I entrusted him to the Holy Child the Savior. Juanito recovered and the only thing he got was a lump on his forehead.

I was swimming when I suddenly felt that someone was pulling me down. I saw two mermaids, they grabbed and tried to pull me to their domain. I felt dizzy because of lack of air. I implored Saint Barbara, and she came to help me. She made the mermaids let me go. I fainted. When I woke up, I was on the beach. I thank for this wonderful miracle that saved my life.

Raulito Garcia was so dumb that one day his teacher Sonia Corrales lost her patience and hit him with a ruler. When she saw him unconscious after the blow she prayed the Holy Virgin. The teacher thanks the Virgin because the boy fainted because he had worms and not because she hit him.

The superhero Squirrel Woman was fighting with two criminals when suddenly the third one hit her in the back. She lost her conscience. When she came back to her senses she asked for superior help, and thank to the Sorrowful Virgin of Memories she could get up and catch the scoundrels.

When Marina Martinez was swimming in the sea, she had a congestion because she went swimming after having eaten. She lost her senses and went to the bottom because she swallowed a lot of water. But thanks to her devotion to the Virgin of San Juan the Virgin sent dolphins to help her. The dolphins took her out of the water and brought to the coast before she drowned.

Saint Francis, thank you for your help. My cutie pie and I were making love when I felt a bite on my leg. I turned to look what it was and saw a horrible snake. I screamed and then fainted. When I got conscious. I was in the hospital when they took care of me. I thank Saint Francis.

Juaquin Ponce had an accident while stowing boxes. They fell on his legs, so he could remain cripple. A tube hit his head as well, so he knocked out. He dedicates this retablo to the Holy Child of Atocha to tell what happened and to let all know about the miracle.
