He was furious, he grabbed his pistol to shoot my boyfriend. I implored Saint Raymond Nonnatus to not let a tragedy happen. The pistol misfired, and my boyfriend managed to escape. Afterwards, I spoke with my father, and he finally accepted our engagement. Now he doesn’t believe any rumors, and I thank for that with this ex-voto.

Don Venustiano Hernandez’ heifers escaped from their pastures. Don was very sad because he looked for them everywhere but couldn’t find them. He asked Saint Francis of Assisi for help, and the saint helped him to find them. Few days later he caught them safe and sound. He thanks for that.

My Pepito was a very naughty boy. He didn’t like to study at all. His teacher couldn’t stand him and was about to expel him from the elementary school. I thank the Virgin of San Juan because my boy changed a lot. Now he’s studying. Al least he scored 6 points in the exam, so he might pass to another grade, after three attempts.
