David thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe for saving him from dying during so dangerous surgery on his head. He was between life and death. He thanks for that with this retablo.

Benjamin Camacho was riding on his bike with his baby when he was hit by a bus. The baby flew out his hands. He thanks the Holy Heart because miraculously the baby didn’t get hurt by falling on the ground. Benjamin didn’t get serious injuries either and got off with some bruises.

Saint Barbara helped a widow with fishing and saved the woman and her baby from hunger.

One night, the young man Roberto Mendes had to take the subway, and someone pricked him with a syringe. He thanks the Virgin of Guadalupe because, after many tests, everything turned out all right.

I used to cook delicious pork chops or ham and eggs for my family because I thought these are very nutritious dishes. But one night some pigs with wings appeared to me. They looked at me in an accusatorial way. I got scared and implored Saint Quiteria to protect me from the pigs. I promised I’d cook only chicken breast and fish fillet and I’d even make eggs without ham. I thank the Saint because the pigs never come back to look at me.

I thank Saint Anthony of Padua for a beautiful wedding that he allowed me to have. I married the man I love and who also loves me very much. We hope God would send us a lot of children.

I thank the Holy Virgin of Guadalupe because my little Martincito became like a dead. We were ready to keep a vigil over him, we had prepared the veil, the flowers, had made his hair, and then the dead baby began to cry. I thank for this divine miracle.

Yolanda Rivera was caught by the police when she was swimming in a fountain. She thanks Saint Sebastian de Aparicio with this retablo because she spent only one night in jail. She promises to not be such an exhibitionist.

We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for finding such a profitable corner. Here we have a lot of clients to go in the hotel with.

The Melecio Martinez’ donkey got sick. Since they loved it very much and cared about the donkey, and also since there was no other way to carry milk to the town to sell it, they prayed to Saint Francis of Assisi who heard the prayers and made the miracle of curing the donkey. Now the donkey is strong and cheerful again.

A rainy day, a demon began to follow me. He followed me for a week like a dog without a master. To scare him off, I put an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe on my back. It chased the demon away, and he doesn’t follow me anymore.
