I thank God and San Anthony of Padua for sending me a fiancé. I thought I would stay an old maid forever. And when I expected nothing to happen I heard a serenade. It was Pedro Lopez, a boyfriend that I had before and who came back from USA. We got married and now we are very happy.

One warm evening I was swimming underwater on the beach in Ixtapa, Ziuatanejo. I was admiring the beauty of the sea when suddenly a shark started to chase me. And of course I saw the devil near by it. He told the shark to attack me. But I entrusted myself to the Virgin of Zapopan and managed to save myself.

I give thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe for such a big favor. She made my son Javiercito’s dream came true. He had had an accident, and he was so sad sitting in his wheelchair and watching his favorite wrestler El Santo. Suddenly the wrestler came to him and gave him one of his masks.

May you be praised, God and the Virgin of Guadalupe. I was swimming on the Zihuatanejo beach, when suddenly two mermaids dragged me to the bottom of the sea. I thought I was going to drown, because I had no air to breathe. Then one mermaid kissed me, and I fainted. When I awoke, I was lying on the sand on the beach.

I want to thank God and the Virgin of Guadalupe with this ex-voto because it’s time for the Day of the Dead. Every year I make an altar in memory of my late husband Rogaciano. My heart is filled with joy when I feel the presence of his soul. I am overwhelmed with emotions.

I thank Saint Jude Thaddeus for my beautiful wife. I met her while wrestling. She always sat in the fist row and she was always very excited. Her support made me fight super good, and I always won. Afterwards I invited her to meet me, and then we got married.

On the night of November 2, 1982, my girlfriend Lupita and I went to a date to the cemetery, because my mother-in-law didn’t permit to Lupita to have suitors. We were alone chatting, when suddenly some skeletons appeared. They were dancing and playing some instruments. We got scared and promised not to come to the cemetery ever again. Thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe we didn’t get sick and we even get married. So now we’re happy.

It was November 2. I went to the cemetery to visit my late friends. I was tired and fell asleep. To my surprise, when I awoke, I found myself surrounded by skeletons who were eating the offerings. I was scared and rushed out from the cemetery. I thank the Virgin of Guadalupe.

I thank God for helping me to cure the sick animals that people bring to me. I always entrust myself to St. Anthony the Great, and thank to him I have patience to foster the sick.

On our honeymoon my wife Juanita and I were on the Acapulco beach. Suddenly a mermaid appeared. She fell in love with me. Out of jealousy she grabbed my wife’s hair and tried to drown her. But thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe I didn’t let her to do so.

May you be blessed, my God and my Virgin of Guadalupe. One night I couldn’t sleep because I felt the presence of the famous Weeping Woman. I was so scared, and my husband, Amador Ramirez, was calmly sleeping and didn’t help me. I start praying, and suddenly I felt how instead of a fear, a peace came to my heart. Nothing bad happened to me.

The Weeping Woman is a legendary Mexican character, a ghost of a mother weeping about her dead children.

With great joy, I give thanks to God and the Virgin of Guadalupe for such a big favor. I thought I’d never get married because my best years were behind me. But one day my boyfriend, who went in USA few years ago, returned. He proposed me, and I gladly accepted his proposal, because he is the love of my life. He organized a very cute wedding for me.

One beautiful night my boyfriend Pedro and I went to the cemetery so no one could see us, because my parents didn’t allow me to have boyfriend. Suddenly some skeletons appeared. We were so frightened, we ran away. We thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for we didn’t get sick.
