She promised not to play again, and as if she would have such a temptation she would go to bake. Now, Ana Maria opened the pastry-shop and it brings her a good income.

Mrs. Luz Maria Fernandez was so angry with her son, she grabbed his ear and almost tore it off. She thanks Saint Charbel for she went in prison for a few months. She promises to amend her ways.

I dedicate this retablo to Saint Jude Thaddeus because the letter from this stupid Carlos, my fiancé, made me laugh so much. He wrote me about our disengagement. But he had no idea how many men went through my bed enjoying me and sipping the whiskey bought with his money.

I give thanks because I fell and hit my head while being under the influence of liquor. When I came back to my senses, I saw the image of the Virgin of Los Remedies who cured me.

I always though that my husband was a real «macho». So even more was my shock when one day I caught him in my dress and in make-up.
