My daughter Carmela and her classmate went fishing to the laguna in a boat. But the boat sank and the girls went into the water. My daughter didn’t know how to swim and got really scared. She entrusted herself to the Virgin of the Rosary, and the other girls dragged her from the water before my girls drowned. Carmela thanks the Virgin.

Raquel Garcia didn’t know that her new friend had arachnophobia. When she showed him her tarantula, the friend had such a strong attack that he ended up in the hospital. She thanks the Holy Child Doctor for his recovery.

My mother confirmed my suspicions about my husband when she saw him walking with other women. That’s why he was almost never home and wouldn’t come to sleep sometimes. Then I entrusted myself, with all my heart, to Saint James the Apostle so that he would straighten my husband. And now my hubby is always at home. He even does household chores and cooks. He’s faithful now and I thank for that.

I was, at the insistence of my parents, about to marry a man whom I didn’t love and didn’t even like. But Saint Anthony gave me the courage to run away with my bridesmaid. We went to the capital, and we’re happy now. We thank the saint patron.

Alberto and Marisa went to gather wood for the fire for the supper. It was already night time when, in the moonlight, they saw an enormous strange luminous animal. It looked like it was from a peyote dream. The children got scared first, but then they saw that it was harmless and friendly. They felt peacefully and happy standing next to it. This feeling has last for many years, and they thank the Virgin of Guadalupe for this adventure.

I always dreamt that one day my price, a handsome man with black eyes, would come to me riding gracefully his white horse and nothing would stop him, that he would take me in his arms and say to me that he love me. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the man of my dream came—although not for me but to buy a land from my father. But when I saw him on his white horse I understood it’s him. He also saw me and fell in love at first sight. I thank for we will be happy forever.

One night my husband and I went for a walk, and we had a macabre meeting. We saw some skeletons who had left their tombs. They had a noisy party, they were drinking and dancing. We thank the Virgin of Zapopan because our dog got very excited seeing so many bones. It rushed for them and distracted the skeletons, so we could escape and ran to our house. The problem is that the dog came back later with a big bone and buried it in the garden.

My daughter had very bad luck with her boyfriends. All of them turned out to be scoundrels and traitors. I thank because she finally met a decent guy who loves her and wouldn’t make her suffer, like others did. Now they have got married and will be happy together. I thank Saint Anthony.

It was very late at night when my sister Lourdes and I were coming back from the movies. We were followed by some skeletons in a red car. They asked us to have a ride. We got scared and ran away, because not only they were dead men but also dead drunk. We thank the Blessed Sacrament for we escaped from these ghosts.

I’m happy playing my instrument. And I’m happier when I notice that my music attracts the wild forest animals. I thank the Virgin of the Rosary for giving me this wonderful talent.
