I felt very lonely in the last years, because I haven’t any partner. But someone brought me abandoned kittens, and I shelter them. I thank Saint Francis because now they are the joy of my house. I only asked the saint to meet a partner who would love my cats, because I can’t imagine my life without them.

Josefa Gutierrez went to the town to sell fruits. On the way there, her donkey got furious, because of a wasp sting, and threw Josefina off. She fell on the rocks and hit her had so badly that she saw how the death and the devil were approaching to her. But thanks to her angel guardian, who came and gave her few slaps, she recovered consciousness. The devil and the death had to leave with nothing. Josefina thanks for they remained disappointed.

My kitchen was filled with corn demons. I wasn’t able to see them, but they provoke some accidents and were up to mischief. I couldn’t bear it, so I prayed to Saint Paschal for saving me from the demons. And the saint sent me a cat. It came one day on my kitchen and didn’t leave. I wanted to throw it out, but very soon all accidents and mischiefs stopped.

Since my children went away, I felt so lonely. One day I adopted an abandoned puppy that arrived at my doors. He gave me so much joy. I thank the Virgin of San Juan, for now I have 11 stray dogs living with me. They brighten up the loneliness, give me their love and protect me from thieves.

Delfino Gonzalez was learning how to ride a horse, and the horse threw him off right on cactuses. He got seriously hurt. Delfino thanks Saint Jude for his quick recovery and also because he’s learned the right way to ride.

With this drawing, I want to thank Saint Francis for the miracle he made. Your slave Juan Luis Rubert had some drinks in the bar. On the way back, I was riding a horse and hit my head on a badly planted tree. I fell off the horse and broke two ribs and one leg. On top of everything I was stung by a viper.

However, that moonless night Saint Francis heard my prayers. He sent me my neighbor Geniero, who was passing by on his donkey. He took me to the hospital where I met Dr. Paty and fell in love with her.

September 14, 1919, on our way to Queretaro, we were attacked by bandits. They took all our donkeys with corn. Thanks to you, Virgin of Guadalupe, they didn’t kill us.

I thank God for helping me to cure the sick animals that people bring to me. I always entrust myself to St. Anthony the Great, and thank to him I have patience to foster the sick.

A dog chased a group of girls from the Saint Martin school. Then the dog bit them. The mothers of the girls thank the Virgin of Zapopan because the dog was caught and the examination showed it wasn’t rabid.
