My dog was very hungry because with so many work to do I forgot to feed it. The animal pulled the mushroom soup on the floor and ate a lot of it. But afterwards it got sick. It seems there was a poisonous mushroom in the soup. I thanks Saint Paschal for the pet doctor gave serum and other medicine to the dog and saved the animal. Because the dog keeps my company and I love it very much—almost like my children.

The Garcia Medina family thanks the Holy Spirit for healing their favorite cow. The vet told them that the cow was going to die, but it got cured.

I was robbed by a bandit who took my money and my horse and left me wounded in the field. I felt life leaving me through my wound. I entrusted myself to the Saint Michael Archangel, and then the Padilla brothers, who were passing by looking for the lost livestock, found me. They took me to the doctor. I thank for that miracle of Saint Michael that saved my life.

This is ex-voto of thanks to the leaders of Soviet revolution. If it hadn’t happened I couldn’t have had highly qualified workers from east for next to nothing. I’ve already had three musicians from Kiev Symphony Orchestra working for me as stevedores carrying cement. Now I have a surgeon working on a crane and two Ukrainian women at the kitchen. They were ballet dancers back in their homeland. They’re nice-looking broads, it’s nothing wrong with their bodies, probably because of gymnastics <…>

I dedicate this retablo to Saint Martha and to my dear doctor Guillen, who prescribed me a fabulous German medicine that cured me from these horrible growing hairs with pus that I had in my left armpit.

I want to thank Saints Cosmas and Damian with this retablo for the miracle that the anatomy teacher Lupita de Barragan became passionate about my son Juan Luis and helped him to overcome his apprehensions and fears of flesh and tendons, and blood, and other things. So my son happily graduated as M.D. surgeon.

We lived happily with my wife Patricia all our life. But then she got insane. Her behavior was frightening. She threw stuff and even furniture when she was mad. And she lost her temper over nothing. I prayed to the Holy Child of Atocha. Thanks to him my sister gave to my wife some herbs. With those herbs, and also with some pills prescribed by the doctor, her madness was over. I thank for that.

In Barcelona, January 19, 2014, your slave Gino Rubert wanted to thank the Virgin of the Miracles from Jalisco for the lady doctor Francis de Carranza, known in the hospital as Juanita, tattooed her name on my butt for pleasure before letting me go.

My daughters played with jumping ropes outside. Soledad got tangled in the rope and fell hitting her head. She lost consciousness. I asked the Holy Child of Atocha so that she wouldn’t have her head broken. And the X-rays made by the doctor showed that she was alright. I thank for that.

Maria Antoniela Perez broke her back when she tried to reach the top shelf of the cupboard. The cupboard fell on her and smashed her. She and her parents, doña Luz and don Ramon, give thanks to the Holy Virgin of Zapopan because the girl marvelously recovered. And the doctor said she is going to be alright.

My boy Panchito ate a lot of sweets and felt severe pain in the stomach. Nothing helped him so I entrusted him to the Holy Child Doctor. With his divine help and with help of the doctor Panchito is feeling well now. I offer this retablo for that.
