When my husband got retired, he started to cook in order to occupy himself. He cooked so terribly, that we all had a stomach-ache from his strange dishes. I was scared that he’d poison all of us. Thanks to my prayers to Saint Paschal, my husband finally got bored with cooking and dedicated himself to gardening.

I went to a blind-date to dance with a women who appeared to be very nice on the phone and had a very sensual voice. But to my surprise she turned out to be a she-devil. And he was accompanied by another couple of devils. I was very scared, so I had only one dance with her and then slipped away pretending I was going to the bathroom. I thank the Virgin of San Juan for I could escape from the demons without any damage.

One night I camped in the mountains, and some extraterrestrials appeared to me. First I got scared but then, while the martians were looking for plants in the forest, I felt very peacefully. But when they flew away, the fear came back. I rushed to the tavern in the nearest village. I thank the Blessed Sacrament for the martians didn’t take me with them.

One night I went fishing, and my boat sank. The sea was filled with sharks, and I got very scared for my life. But then I heard wings fluttering and I saw my Guardian angel who took me out of the water before the sharks attacked me. I thank my Guardian angel for that miracle.

I had a slight fever, and the night I had hallucinations with the ghosts of enormous mosquitos. They were looking at me reproachfully, because I had sprayed them with insecticide. They wanted to bite me. I prayed Saint Quiteria for help, and the next day I had no fever. However, I ordered mosquito nets to put on the windows because I didn’t want to have any more visits from the mosquitos ghosts.

My fiancé and I thank Saint Anthony because we got married in love, and our wedding happened on a starlit night, and we swore in love to each other under the star light.

One night I camped in the mountains. I made a fire to keep it warm and to keep the wolves away and went to sleep. But when the fire got out the wolves came closer. I woke up because they were grunting near me. I was scared, and I entrusted myself to the Blessed Sacrament asking for help. Then a marvelous miracle happened. A circle of light surrounded me. When one wolf tried to enter inside the circle, it howled from a terrible pain and ran away. It scared the others wolves away. They left me in peace, and I thank for that miracle.

My friends used to criticize me for my husband was a lazybones hippy, who on top on everything painted our living-room in outlandish colors and patterns he used in his paintings. I was dying of embarrassment every time we received guests in our house. But one day one of my friends brought a rich lady to our house. And she fell in love with my husband’s paintings. She ordered him to paint and decorate her own house. So now my husband has become a great interior decorator. They write about him in the magazines. And my friends are all jealous now. I thank the Virgin of Zapopan for my husband’s talent.

I was preparing a marvelous dinner for special guests when I noticed that my dog, who decided that he was a special guest, got at the table and served himself the chicken. I thank Saint Paschal Baylon because with his inspiration I managed to improvise another main course that turned out to be even more delicious than the chicken and the guests complimented me.

Exactly that moment when Jorge Moreno was going to propose to his girlfriend he was hit by a Coca-Cola truck. His girlfriend Juanita thanks the Virgin of San Juan because her future husband didn’t die and yet he proposed to her in the hospital right after his broken leg was put in plaster.

One night my daughter and I went to visit my grandmother to bring her some marmalades. Suddenly the ghost of the drowned woman appeared from the lake. The legend says that she committed suicide for a betrayal of love, and she tries to drag people to the bottom of the lake, for revenge. I grabbed my crucifix and implored the Virgin of the Rosary so that she would cast the ghost out. The ghost got scared and disappeared. We thank to the Virgin.

I thank Saint Anthony because I married a good man who loves me and the animals. He accepted me with my monkey, two dogs, two cats and my parrot. Now we’re all happy on his ranch.

One night two she-devils appeared in our bedroom. They certainly came to take my husband with them because he’s a gambler, drinker and womanizer. I was angry and scared. So I took the rosary and prayed the Virgin of Zapopan for protection. Thanks to Virgin’s power the she-devils disappeared and only left a sulphur smell in the room. I thank the Virgin for my husband didn’t wake up during this because he is very naughty and would’ve certainly gone with them.
