God Jesus Christ, I thank you and offer you this because you’re always kind to me. You’re always hanging on the wall, watching and looking after me, with your skin so white and soft, with your long hair all in sweat, and your blood going down your stomach always reminding me about how I make you suffer and you are so good to me. Thanks, and I remain your slave awaiting your coming.

The thing I love the most is to walk around the forest and be together with the animals. When I was sick and bedridden I couldn’t go visit them and I missed them a lot. The Virgin of Guadalupe worked the miracle, and one day I woke up as the forest came to my bedroom. I was surrounded by my friends who came to visit me. I thank for this miracle.

I was walking in the park with my daughter. An exhibitionist came out from bushes towards us. I thank my Guardian Angel for distracting my little daughter from that horrible sight.

Alicia asks Saint Sebastian for forgiveness because she put horns on her husband with her boss in this hotel because her boss found out that her husband had crushed his car and wanted to throw him in jail for that. That’s why I accepted these conditions—so that Antonio wouldn’t go to jail.

In sign of my eternal gratitude, I dedicate the present retablo to the Miraculous Virgin of San Juan* for saving me when I slipped from the top rope trying to perform an Atomic Hummer.

We went to Veracruz to visit our aunts and uncles. When we were going in the boat some monkeys climbed over. They began to rock the boat, and we were afraid they would push us into the water full of crocodiles. But thanks to the Virgin of Guadalupe we managed to escape safely from this difficult situation. No more animals attacked us during that trip. We thank for we went through it well.

Altagracia Martinez thanks Saint Matthew with this retablo because being a stripper she managed to meet a politician who has made her his lover, treats her like a queen and even got her a small house.

We beg the Lord of Chalma, from our hearts, to end quickly the quarantine and the COVID-19 virus so that our children could go back to school because we can’t stand being locked up with them any longer. They only cause havoc, and my wife and I are about to explode from the stress.
